Ehsan is the sole founder of the business and holds the position of CEO.

Ehsan began his career in law, where he spent several years working as a barrister. He holds an LLB degree and gained valuable knowledge and experience from this sector. He then diversified into property investment from 2000 onwards. He has been very successful in this sector, working with institutional funds both in the UK and abroad. He is solely responsible for over £200m worth of investments with organisations he has represented.

During his career in property investment, Ehsan has excelled with key partners, and is still a stakeholder in numerous organisations he has set up. Ehsan was a co-founder of Land & Co, and helped propel the organisation in the SSH sector, investing over £80m in that sector. Ehsan was instrumental in setting up that organisation and delivering investments that were beyond excellent standards.

As well as having the eye for a great investment, Ehsan holds high values for himself and those around him. He is very much values-driven, making sure that people are at the forefront of all decisions made. This work ethic has helped Ehsan gain and maintain valuable relationships for over 20 years.

In his spare time, Ehsan is a trustee and board member for several charities, and can be regularly found helping local communities and charities with their objectives. He is also a keen cricketer, representing and captaining his local team for over 25 years.

Umar helped set up the organisation in 2020 with Founder Ehsan Akram. His vision and networking skills, gained from the past ten years in the property investment sector, were key in setting up the organisation.

Umar was pivotal in the purchase of over 400 units in Specialised Supporting Housing, with an investment value of £80m+ within this sector. His communication skills and diverse understanding of the sector were critical in achieving these figures.

As Managing Director of this organisation, Umar is responsible for delivering investment opportunities and maintaining good working relationships with all partners, as well as overseeing all daily activities at Aurora Homes.

Umar has a BSc (Hons) in Information Systems.

In his spare time, he enjoys keeping fit in the gym, on the pitch, or in the ring! He is also very active with charities locally and internationally.

Abdul joined the organisation in late 2020 and has become a valued member of the team, bringing extensive experience and a strong network within the property sector.

With several years of expertise in sourcing and acquiring investment properties, Abdul has developed a keen eye for identifying high-quality opportunities that deliver value for investors. His relationship-driven approach and industry knowledge enable him to build strong partnerships and successfully manage projects from acquisition through to delivery.

In his role, Abdul is responsible for identifying and securing investment opportunities, working closely with partners and stakeholders to ensure each project progresses smoothly. He is committed to maintaining clear communication throughout every stage of the process, ensuring clients and partners remain informed and confident in the delivery of each scheme.

Outside of work, Abdul has a passion for martial arts. A former international competitor in Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), he now dedicates his time to coaching and mentoring others, sharing the skills and discipline he developed through years of competing around the world.

Aaron leads construction delivery for Aurora Homes, bringing over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and a track record of delivering landmark projects on major city centre sites.

His career includes senior roles at Carillion PLC and Barratt Homes in West London. In 2024 he founded CDPM Limited, a construction project management company delivering complex, high-value schemes across the North West.

His track record includes Middlewood Locks in Salford — a £220m, multi-phase development of over 2,200 new homes, commercial space, hotels and retail — as well as the £45m P1 Hotels development at Manchester Airport City and £30m of enabling infrastructure works there, including new roads and a link bridge.

Aaron specialises in delivering large, high-rise and high-risk schemes on constrained and live city centre sites, with a strong focus on health and safety, environmental standards, and keeping projects on time and on budget.

Janette is Aurora Homes’ Chief Operating Officer, bringing over 30 years of experience across health and social care, supported housing and the charitable sector to the leadership team.

She has a proven track record in organisational leadership, service transformation, governance and quality improvement across NHS, independent and third-sector organisations, combining board-level strategic expertise with frontline clinical insight to deliver responsive, person-centred services.

Janette is skilled in leading complex organisations through workforce transformation and compliance within highly regulated services, and is committed to building a compassionate, inclusive culture that drives positive outcomes.

Alongside her role at Aurora Homes, Janette is CEO of Compass Counselling Services in Merseyside, a trustee of East Cheshire Housing Association and Sunnyvale Housing Association, and Chair of the Clwyd Special Riding Centre in Flintshire.
